Since 2006, E-Modell has offered high-quality interior lighting for model railway enthusiasts. Alongside universal lighting that can be adapted to different coach lengths across many scales, the range includes lighting designed specifically for Märklin and Roco compartment coaches.

All interior lighting products are developed to high industrial standards and manufactured in Germany. Particular attention is paid to high-quality components, including rectifiers, voltage converters, LED drivers, microcontrollers and potentiometers, as well as excellent LEDs and effective buffer capacitors.

All products are manufactured at Newmatik GmbH in Hennweiler, Rhineland-Palatinate. Alongside E-Modell, products for companies including Panasonic, Siemens, Lufthansa and Bosch are manufactured here.
