90201 and 90202
90201 is the 3300 µF buffer capacitor. 90202 is the 0.1 F PowerPack, with specified dimensions of 5.5 × 10.8 × 12.5 mm. Both are named in the LX-U DCC and LX-U Poti manuals. Use the designated buffer connections and correct polarity. Do not select a capacitor by size or capacitance alone: voltage, charging behaviour, clearance and board revision must also match.
90401: two-colour end lighting
90401 is a round 3 mm red/warm-white end light; the product pack contains two lights. The LX-U DCC manual describes one to three of this type on SSL, with common anode SSL+. Do not confuse this circuit with the simple red LED outputs on other lighting families. Check polarity and channel assignment against the original drawing.
90301: FSV switching amplifier
The FSV switches track-powered lighting using the signal from a locomotive or function decoder. An optocoupler galvanically isolates the control signal. The manufacturer description gives 24 × 11 mm, up to eight interior lighting boards and maximum current consumption of 0.3 A at 30 V AC/DC. The count of eight does not approve arbitrary loads; also observe the voltage and current requirements of every connected product.
90302: Power LED light
The 90302 Power LED is a single white light for 14–18 V DC. Observe its marked positive and negative connections. This specification does not permit direct connection to AC or DCC track power. Dimensions, current draw and wattage are not reliably specified in the available product data; ask for them when sizing a supply.
Decoder wire
Decoder wire is specified with 0.05 mm² conductor area, 0.7 mm outer diameter and 26 strands of 0.05 mm. Variants are 91010 black, 91011 red and 91012 grey. The product description states up to 0.5 A; the outputs and components you connect may have much lower limits. Route and insulate wires to suit the coach.
